CRAFTY'S TAKES

Crafty's Take On: Cinema

Lights! Camera! ACTION! Cinema, more commonly known as movies and television. Since their invention, these glorious moving pictures and recorded scenes have captivated humanity's attention. A method to tell stories, to share information, to serve as a creative outlet for the whole world to see. And there are dozens of ways to make cinema, in hundreds of styles. While I am no expert on cinematography, I understand enough to have a clear-cut take on the subject.

Crafty's Take On: Taxes

If you actually find someone who likes having to pay a chunk of their hard-earned money which then just seems to disappear off the face of the Earth, please let me know. Taxes are what I would call a necessary evil- something we need for our modern society to function, but is disliked for good reason. It's kinda like using mold to make blue cheese- you'd rather not have to make food using mold, but you want blue cheese. (Which by the way, is an underrated cheese.) Taxes are the mold of our blue cheese of a country. Which sounds weird when I say it, but it's really true.

A Talk About My Takes

Hey there, to you all. It's been a while, huh? I'll be honest, I forgot all about my blog, and got focused on other things. All that, after I said I'd update more frequently! Honestly, I'm more than a little ashamed of myself. But that's not why I'm having this talk. Well, it is- but there is much more to it than just me feeling bad that I didn't write down words on my own website for roughly a month consecutively.

Crafty's Take On: Writing

Well if it wasn't quite obvious already, I like to write. If I ever focus on something, I love writing about it. From the general bits and pieces of life put into the form of a blog, to a homage of a series like nothing anyone in the world has seen, to a masterpiece of an original work to dazzle the world. Yes, I do indeed enjoy writing... but it's not as easy as I can sometimes make it seem.

Crafty's Take On: Job Hunting

The act of job hunting is quite a difficult affair that has changed much throughout human history. Jobs produced money from the people who paid for their goods and services (thank you, high school e-con) and everyone who didn't have a job was trying their hardest to find their place in the market.

Crafty's Take On: Spectrums

What are spectrums? Well, I don't claim to be any kind of scientist, but I've gotten a general idea over my lifespan. The most common ones that humans think about is the color spectrum- after all, there are HUNDREDS of shades of the color red alone, and that's just red. The chosen image for this post is a perfect example of this, no two colors are quite the same, swirling together to create something unique and interesting. And that is what spectrums of all kinds are about.

Crafty's Take On: Pride

It takes a lot to admit you were wrong. Your pride, your very sense of self-importance, feels wounded. You don't feel right, and getting that to heal takes longer than you would care to admit. The same sort of feelings come from failure, injury, and loss. You might not like it very much, but taking hits to your pride may very well make you a better person.

Crafty's Take On: Phones

Ah, the phone. That little rectangle most of us have in our pockets. Heck, you might even be reading this blog from your phone right now! Naturally, not everyone has a CELL phone, or even a phone at all. Some of us still have landlines in our homes, and then there are the phones businesses use to put you on hold. But those are the facts.

Crafty's Take On: Blogs

Blogs. A simple, effective, and downright fun way to convey thoughts, tell stories, and just lay out your words for the world to see. If you can't exactly tell, I like blogs.
